Well, might have found my first bug. When my base is parked and I am not close, the app goes into ‘Privacy Mode’ which doesn’t allow monitoring or remote access. I have followed the manual instructions and toggled the privacy and remote access radio buttons on and off with no luck.

Has anyone else had an issue with this yet? Hopefully I’m just missing an opt in somewhere.

I think when I first setup, there were some setup options that were related to that.

I selected the most permissive options, and have had no problems with that (I left it on Level 2 charging while I was at a mall and I can see the charging status no problem, even as a widget on iOS).

Maybe try deleting and re-adding the vehicle on the My Porsche app, and logging out in the car?

I had that and when I entered the car it asked for the pin and had lost My Profile. In my case I had screwed the system by inadvertently using the wrong key previously. This then caused the Privacy Mode to switch and caused the issue. It was fully sorted by me putting the ‘wrong key’ in a tin far away from the car and enter with the ‘right key’. The dealer apologised for not making it clear regards one key being set up initially. The strange thing was that I had both keys in my pocket when we set up the car on collection.

Fixed it by trial and error.

I ended up having to switch profiles and then back again, which kicked it out of privacy mode. On retrospect, I was doing a lot of set up with the car yesterday (apps etc) and I think I had all possible permutations of the two keys and my phone with me through out. As per your suggestion @Wivenhoe, I must have confused it. Actually surprised it didn’t freeze all together.

Minor crisis averted.
