Preconditioning and departure

Never used it before Taycan or completely forgot how crap it was, I set it to set the temperature nice and toasty when leaving for the first this morning and it was indeed lovely and warm so set it to repeat on the weekdays but when I got to work and plugged it in to top up I just checked and it didn’t charge, just says paused. Is this something to do with the departure time I have set for the car and is there a way to have it set but not stop it from charging when you want to?

Via the PCM (Porsche Communication Management): Tap on the charging or timer menu on your central touchscreen display and select the option to start Direct charging immediately.

Via the My Porsche App: Open the My Porsche App, select your vehicle, go to the charging settings, and toggle or tap on Direct charging (or immediate charge) to bypass active timers.

You would need to temporarily disable the departure timer if AC charging otherwise it will be waiting on the next timer event. DC charging overrides any timer.

Same on the Taycan - pressing "Direct Charge " would have the same effect.
