Has anyone put PPF on their new Cayenne EV? What I am being told is it interferes with the radar system and the cutouts I am told are evidently pretty ugly.

This is terrible news if true. My cayenne is on its way to be PPFed in just a few days. Appreciate any insight.

Also, if I remember correctly PTS isn’t available in combination with Innodrive. If a paint color is an obstacle, surely PPF will be worse?

Does the lane change system come with the drive assist option ?
as this is the only option Paint to sample causes an issue on 🤔
so maybe if haven’t got that option ….it wont be an issue🧐😳

I just contacted my dealer and he is checking into it. My car is due in the next week or so and was going straight for PPF. If true will hold off at least on the fascia. Not happy as that much exposed area is prone to rock chips.....

My guess is that all models have the radar sensors, as they are used for blindspot monitoring and collision avoidance, not just when you spec the drive assist.

Few questions...
Was that email an official Porsche notice, or something the detailer provided?

If the front sensors can be compromised by PPF, why is covering the rear radar sensors with PPF okay (or at least not advised against)?

How dirty are you allowed to get your car before you impair the sensors (and void the warranty until you clean it 🤪?)

I wonder if this detailer has had a bad experience with radar sensors and metallic PPF, and now doesn't want to take the risk?
