Isn't the body shop part of the production line? If so, how can a vehicle start production and require 10 weeks to complete? That's an impossibly large line (10 weeks could equal 10,000 vehicles) and I sure hope they don't have an area to store work in progress (WIP) while it is not being built.

I don't think the entry is literal. I think there is a bunch of stages in production that they are not showing in this view.

V260 might well mean that the order is transmitted to the body shop so they know it is coming, but nothing physical has been assembled because of a hold on the order (like parts shortages).

As you guessed, with JIT assembly, they will not want to start physical assembly until they know they can assemble the complete vehicle without pulling it out of the line or have to do re-work later.

Gotta figure it's any day now right? My dealer seems to think 7/24.
Yeah my dealer seems to think 7/22 (that's what the estimated date is on PSVMS for my order) but you never know. There were cases where GT3s were held at port for months because of certification delays.

Some late breaking news: apparently the certification hold has been released, PDI at the port has been completed and the car has been released for transport (V810). My dealer is only an hour away from the port so hopefully it will get there tomorrow or Wednesday.

I was hoping to see an update today at the EPA website, but still nothing.

My salesperson informed me that the car would likely arrive at the dealer sometime Friday.

The service department is closed for the weekend, so dealer prep will likely happen Monday, and delivery Tuesday,

I think I am on the same schedule as you. They said early next week.
