mclaren certainly has a great history of building fantastic cars, however their price points are way beyond what is considered "normal".
porsche is a niche brand for few people who want high performance cars at a cost that is affordable, mclaren is an even smaller brand that only a select few can afford.
if mclaren can build a car that can compete with the taycan pricing, I say welcome to the game but I doubt that they can do it.

Not to mention how tiny their dealership network is. If you thought lead times getting your Taycan fixed were bad...!

Picture of it looks like a love letter to Porsche where imitation is the highest form of flattery.

McLaren has had massive quality issues, dealership issues, and resale value support problems. Their maintenance and repair cost are astronomical, and they control every aspect of it down to the paint. Whatever they do, it won’t be comparable to the Taycan in any way save for the fact that it’s electric.

So what are we saying, bring back Ron Dennis?
