Same here in my feedback. An incremental improvement in regular charging experience would far outweigh the rare “luxury experience” they seem to be interested in.
My idea of luxury is a trash can, windshield squeegees, maybe some shade, and a charger that has a red T on it. Add a reservation...
Agree so much on the lack of noise. Deceptively fast, but boring.
I wonder who decided to design EVs to be as silent as possible. Raw motor noises are actually pretty cool. Here’s a preview of some experimenting I’ve been doing recording EV sounds.
I didn’t ask about lap times, unfortunately. I was more interested in their mobile charging setup. Using a 100kW Herc rental diesel generator and this 44kW 900V mobile charger. Curious if there could be a market for renting a setup like this for a small group of evs.
The specs for the Battista...
Sharing the track with a Rimac, I mean, a Pinifarina Battista today at Laguna Seca. It’s crazy to actually see what 1800hp is when they’re passing you… and the 3 GT3s in front of you. Mind boggling.

With other brands announcing just a few months ago that they’re going to equip their 2025 cars with NACS, I don’t think it’s too late for Porsche to adapt. Sounds like they’re considering delaying the launch of Macan EV anyways so this would give them the perfect chance to move to NACS. It’s...
Don’t call it an SUV, it’s a “high ground clearance GT body”. And only 1,341hp…

Lamborghini looking to unveil their 2+2 first EV on August 18. Is this going to be a sneak peak at the next Taycan underpinnings or is it just a Taycan with another body?
Here's the Estoque concept they showed years back.
And here’s the official unveil.
Spot on observation. The insert over the lower half of the door seems to fill the gap in.
The door handle looks like it was pulled from the parts bin. Hope that’s not final, it’s a pretty large pocket in the door though. Side mirror is also from the Taycan/992 parts bin.
I bet this thing is...
Was listening to this inEVitable podcast interview with Lucid chassis and vehicle dynamics engineers. Very interesting insights:
OTA updates to tune damping, steering, diffs, etc. for handling.
Redundancy for x-by wire systems and future of steer by wire.
Benchmarking with 911GT3 and some...
Same day announcement, the govs are getting on board with NACS too, starting with Texas.

Good point, if they implement their side cameras as poorly as the Taycan rear cam, that would be hilarious. If they implemented it well… well then I’ll be angry they put so little effort and cost in to ours.
Unfortunately that was by far the most popular sentiment on FB and IG comments too. Like 9/10 comments negative. Didn’t realize there was still that much hatred towards full electric.
The Porsche lineage is more apparent when you look at their other Vision concepts from the past decade. I’m underwhelmed that this EV hypercar still has all the same proportions, cooling and aero as every ICE hypercar out there. The rear mounted side view cameras are kinda cool though, but not...
