Now that we have the deliveries flowing it is interesting to to see these in the flesh. Yesterday I spotted a Vanadium grey (I think) Turbo Coupe in Malta with back styling pack and black sport techno wheels. The photos do not do it justice! It was absolutely stunning sitting in the Valetta sun. I may well regret not choosing this colour now.

Yes, and being a Macan, I think that is Volcanic Grey, though I think the difference is pretty subtle. Thinking the Vanadium has a little more bluish tint.

I have a Vanadium Grey Coupe. In bright sunlight it looks nearer blue and out of sunlight nearer grey. It's why I selected it
I had a Volcanic Grey Macan 4S and it was considerably darker and didn't change look in or out of sunlight.

Hmmm. Well that’s kinda embarrassing. I was a bit too quick to post, on review it is obvious! I’ll blame the extreme heat in Malta!
Let’s go with the extreme heat. I’m going to be in Malta in a couple of days time so will have a look for a Cayenne. That’s if the heat doesn’t affect my judgement. 🤣

I was torn between Metallic Black and Vanadium Grey, in the end I went Black which was in part down to the fact the wife drives a Black Edition Golf R in Black and partly I have had a run of grey/silver look cars and fancied a change. Should be collecting mine at the end of the month all being well.

The Cayenne S is a pretty quick car in its own right so heaven knows what the Turbo version feels like, reckon if I got it my license would be got in no time. LOL

Robert. I am in the same position as you. I originally opted for Vanadium but quickly settled on the Black. Looks like we will have similar cars from the same dealer based on your location. I was expecting my Coupe S to be delivered in Sept, now pushed back to Oct (for the time being).

I have never deliberated so much with the colour of my car. And that also includes the interior. Black looks very cool. I also like vanadium. I actually ordered in Napoli based off the configurator. But since having seen it in the flesh I have decided for Algarve Blue. Interior wise I like light interiors. My Taycan has crayon interior. However, you cannot get that on the Cayenne. It’s either magnesium grey which is a little too grey for my liking or beige/chalk. I’ve settled for beige but it’s still not as nice as crayon. At the end of the day, colour is very subjective to personal taste. It’s what makes you happy.

Did you get to see the grey interior in person, it actually looks very nice indeed and not too light that you would need to be on the ball regularly using leather cleaner to keep it looking it’s best.

Have white interior in the Lotus work kind of works as it’s only for occasional use but still need to remember not to wear certain clothing, I doubt it would stand up too well if I intended to use it daily.

I did see the magnesium in person. Whilst it does look ok, it’s a bit cold for my personal taste. That’s why I’ve decided for beige. I’ve not had any issues with my crayon interior over the last 3 years. Looks as good as new, almost. I don’t wear jeans so no colour transfer and neither does my wife. As I bought my Taycan at 2 yrs old, I’m not sure if the previous owner had the leather sealed. I do clean the leather with a leather cleaner.

If the leather has been sealed then you will not have too much problem keeping it good with no more than a once a month wipe with leather cleaner.

My Eirma is quite a bit lighter than Crayon if my memory services me right, I got it treated when I got it home but I still wouldn’t wear dark jeans in it. Barely done 700 miles in it these last 5 months so only cleaned it once and didn’t notice and change between before and after.

That Emira looks stunning in that colour. Not many miles done. Have you got a 992 too?

I was very close to getting one of those but the dreaded paint bubble issue plus I'm a convertible guy pushed to a Boxster. Now I'm eagerly waiting for the 718 EV

The Taycan is long gone but the 911 is still here.
Very nice. Is that a GTS? You will have the perfect 2 Porsche car garage with the Cayenne. I’ve got a BGTS 4.0 to compliment the Taycan. I would love a 911 too.
