Cayenne Turbo - Steering wheel

Just went to Porsche showroom and below caught my eye. Was quite puzzled and my sales person didn't know about this either. Looks really cool, have a look at Taycan GTS configurator under steering wheels (functionality explained - obviously no gear shifting ;-). Would order it in a heartbeat. As there is no push to pass on base model realistically only for Turbo, if it all.

Surprised the salesman didn't know about this steering wheel. It's been around since the Taycan GTS facelift. I would love it, and for a while I was thinking of ordering the GTS facelift with this steering wheel.

In theory, there's no reason why they couldn't adapt it for the base Cayenne. The left and right paddles could activate/deactivate the recuperation, and the PASM dial could alter the ride height or damper settings.

Didn't know. First time I saw it but wasn't interested in Taycan. Would love to have steering wheel and yes, technically absolute possible, like push to pass. They can unlock a lot of potential with expect facelift in 4 years time. Had a look at updated Macan software, lot more UK friendly with lots of software buttons moved to the right. Other changes are more subtle but noticeable.

Not a lot of Cayenne ordered yet, had a look at all allocations/orders from dealer. Only 9 for June (first batch).
