I’ve found if you set the configurator specs to “Night” then take a look or a picture, it is more accurate, for as Archie noted Bordeaux red is a darker red.

Here the configurator picture under “Night” setting. It is a tasteful, darker red, far from some reds that are brassy appearing IMO.

I'm a bit conservative so went with Vanadium and Magnesium / black seats. The seats go well with the grey interior that comes with it. The Vanadium is a bit of a chameleon - in bright sun it looks like steel with some blue and out of it a darker colour.
If the only thing stopping you ordering is waiting for massage seats I would ask what the freeze date would be if you order now. I suspect if massage become available in the 2027 model year it will be soon or not at all.

Good point. Any guesstimates as to when we see the configurator have a 2027 date for the Cayenne. Mine is October.

There are some previous posts on here. The new model year usually starts after the August close down. The Maxan didn't follow this and it looks like with the Cayenne only recently being launched will be the same. Your dealer should have more info. When I ordered mine the sales guy said the massage seats wouldn't be available until Oct, if at all.

I’ve come to the conclusion that i would not survive another round of choices if they added more to the 2027 Configurator …..any more and I’ll need councelling after a few months in rehab🥴🫪….😅

Understand fully, but would bet the title of my Porsche that the first day the 2027 Cayenne EV configurator is up, that you are on it, configurating away for many hours.

Thankfully Porsche does not charge us for building on it, for if they did I would never be able to buy/lease another one.

Hi,

Interior colour combination Black/Bordeaux Red looks good. I surprised (positively) a bit when received the car because the colour combination looks much better compared to the samples. Red colour is darker than sample showed.

Thanks for the pictures. That does look great. Whats you external colour ? And how well does it work together with the red interior?

Where does it say which model year are we on ? I also read somewhere they thought of releasing full hand free driving in 2027 model

Yes dealer has been very accommodating (Oxford). They have blocked an October build date, subject the massage seats being available. Otherwise pushed to next build date.
We’re going to borrow the cayenne this friday night and bring it back Saturday, to test the seats comfort. We actually had to sell back our taycan turbo with sports seats as we couldn’t handle long road trip in it. Hoping cayenne will not have the same defect for us

The Burmeister is an excellent option. I’ve got it on my Cayenne Turbo EV and love it.
I also have the heads up and now I have it, would struggle not to spec it in the future. It’s very good.
I’ve had seat cooling before and have been unimpressed. I’ve also been unimpressed with massage seats on previous cars (ex60, Mercedes GLC and BMW iX).
If the rear seats will get used, I’d go for heating on them instead.
tinted HD matrix headlights are pricey but look good and work brilliantly.
Rear axle steering and drivers assist are both great calls.

enjoy it when you get it!
I did a lot of digging around the configurator and the standard options on the turbo a few weeks back, and I think rear seat heating is included by default. It gets a bit confusing when looking at the surface heating option, as that mentions rear seat heating, but somewhere in the standard turbo spec it mentions rear seat heating.

The comfort seats look to be wider and different to those in the ICE or Macan. I think that is why massage isn’t currently offered as they seem to be a new design. You’ll see earlier posts on here regarding the launch of the Cayenne EV having improved both cusion and back massage seats but not actually available.
