The Sapphire was the star! 0-200-0 in less than a mile is insane! We run the Texas Mile twice a year and most have no idea what it takes to run 200 much less stop in one mile from 0.

Equally Insane is that the Cayenne Turbo stopping distance beat the ZR1 . . . and the Turbo has over 2000lbs more weight.

Couldn’t agree with more with you guys the Cayenne Turbo EV is an absolute monster… beyond anything imaginable and I think Porsche really stepped up in the best way possible with the EV. Personally especially on the Cayenne Coupe while everyone seems to be raving about fugly Tesla Model Y terds that are a dime a dozen Porsche quietly releases a practical SUV EV track monster!

I think Lucid has set a benchmark for the forthcoming TGT EV that we are likely to see in a couple of years.
I anticipate it will obliterate these numbers

It’s nuts to think a 2.7ton SUV can accelerate from zero to 100mph in just 5 seconds. This is a figure I don’t think I will get over for a while.

What this shows is EVs are the performance kings and I imagine when solid state batteries replace the current ones with their much higher storage capacity we will see the weight of EVs dropping several hundred pounds and with it any advantage ICE cars had in the handling department.
