I definitely wouldn't bother with it myself. I just know several members have mentioned some cheaper feeling scratchy plastics

Some Leather or Race Tex on the driver side door sill would be fine for me because i'm extremely careful and always step over the sill to get in and out. Can't say the same for my significant other (not matter how many "lessons" she has) Scuff central!! Might have that side PPF'd

It's a shame the only option is to have the full door sill in Race-Tex, and not just the B pillar.

The b pillar SOLELY in Race-Tex or leather wouldn't be an issue. I specced Race-Tex on my Taycan GTS, and just adding that small amount of extra fabric makes all the difference. I was disappointed I couldn't specify the same on my Macan Turbo or my Cayenne Turbo.
