Another (surprising) update:

Km: 22222 (thought it would be cool to read it out at this instead of plain 22k)

SoH: 90.81%

Why did it recover? No clue. Haven't changed habits at all. Mostly AC at 3.6kW during the week (adding /spending around 15% every day) with weekly weekend charges at 50-120kW from 30%-95% (basically while chasing good food in my region).

Car will be exactly 1 year old in 5 days.

Cheers
Tony

Haven't even heard of that update ?. I'm guilty of slacking terribly on following the forum lately. I just drive the bloody thing and grin ?.

I'll see if I can find about that juicy rumour. Nothing better to start a weekend.

Cheers and Thx.

finally got it delivered two weeks ago, drove 1000km and tested myself - still 91% SoH
Update:
drove another 1k km and i am now down to 89,31% SoH
Charged 2 times with 150kw DC, besides that only with 3,5kw from the standard wall until i got my 11kw wallbox installed two weeks ago. (I capped the charge to 70% most of the time)

Thx and wouldn't worry too much about that - in another 5-10K try a rebalance and see where you are a- almost certainly will get 1-2% back.
Will update chart later....

Adding to the data pool:

2023 Turbo CT, 10K miles, garaged in PWN (Cool Climate) but traveled all the way to hot climate. Charged to 85% daily (ok most days, sometimes left it unplugged)using 19.2KW EVSE (car has the 80A option). 93.73% SOH Reported. Sorry, never did retrieve the original/new SOH, drove ~3,500 miles in the first 9 days of ownership.
  1. Unknown
  2. 93.73%
  3. 10,000 miles
  4. Will look next time I connect CarScanner. Probably about half the driven distance so far was on DC chargers.
  5. 12/22 (MY23)

@ciaranob - I've put on enough miles for an update.

Current SoH 91.57% (did one "rebalance" back in January that bumped it up to 92.58, none since)
Current mileage 12,257
Total DC charging since new 1,600 kWh

Stumbled across this info:

https://newsroom.porsche.com/en/202...h-voltage-battery-reparation-sales-26854.html

“The total battery capacity is determined by the worst cell – if a cell loses capacity, it limits the range,”

Has anyone noticed range increase after having a module replaced?

“In order to meet its customers’ interest in the capacity and condition of the high-voltage battery, Porsche made early efforts to enable analysis for the Taycan in workshops using Porsche diagnostic equipment. Details of the readout process were sent out to Porsche Centres at the beginning of March 2022, enabling them to read out the data independently and send it to customers. Porsche also plans to offer an app solution that will enable customers themselves to find out the health status of their vehicle.”

https://newsroom.porsche.com/en/202...-digital-twin-high-voltage-battery-36493.html

“With ever-rising demands on the durability of batteries, not least in the legal realm, the topic is very much front of mind. From August this year, anyone who puts batteries into circulation in the European Union has had to provide information on performance and durability in accordance with the new EU Battery Regulation (BATT2). The US state of California has already set minimum standards: From the 2030 model year, electric vehicles must still achieve at least 80 percent of their original range after ten years or 150,000 miles (241,000 km) of mileage. This is stipulated by the California Air Resources Board in its "Advanced Clean Cars II" regulation of November 2022. A similar regulation could apply in the EU in the future. It is therefore essential for OEMs to be able to provide precise information on the durability of vehicle batteries.”

Has anyone asked their local Porsche Centre for a health read out during a warranty check or service? What was the result? Mine has a ARA4 recall soon, I’ll ask.

Porsche quotes - sound really good.

Uh oh. There's a guy, @D00, who is gonna ask dealer if they can comply with Porsche press releases issued two years ago about sending battery health analysis to customers. Why doesn't @D00 understand that is not the purpose of Porsche AG press releases?

(If I remember correctly @Genau had to pay $700 for a multi-day service visit to obtain battery health info.)
