Good for you - you may have to live with the car being at the dealer but being unable to collect until the 26th. I had to do that when I bought the Macan, it arrived mid Feb but I’d bought a 25 plate so had to wait - I resisted the urge to go and see it.
Hope it clears the dock soon
I'm sitting in a car tomorrow. As it's a demo I suspect it will be a Turbo. 2 things I'll be checking out are the sears (bet they're not comfort) and the storage available in the centre box. I hope there is reasonable storage below the cup holders on high level.
I have to rebel all borders in the dealers - I get asked if I want a coffee every 10 minutes. I explain that it should be a stiff drink to cope with the prices.
James C. I went with a Base as the insurance is a real consideration for me due to my age. I have 30 years no claims, clean for 24+ years and low risk. I have a Porsche Insurance quote fixed until 30 June - £ 2,300 which I think with the coverage is not too bad. Last year we had a multi with...
If that is Vanadium I'll be well pleased - sorry about your wife.
The salesman was away until today. Apparently the car is in build so that's good. They are considering their own transport to make the delivery quicker - I assume they must have a full lorry load. Seems production is ramping up...
These posts confirm why Porsche offers 3 different power versions - which is what this forum is all about - differing views and needs but all being relevant
That’s what buyers choice is all about. One thing for sure is that if you don’t do really deep research (particularly with EV’s) then it is a painful buyers remorse. I experienced it by buying the first true EV from Lexus - an RZ450e. Great car but terrible EV and I lost a heap of money to get...
Yes - you would expect a base to be slower than a S or you wouldn’t buy an S. In the UK, other than on a track (who regularly tracks a SUV ?) accelerating from 60 mph to 120 mph would end up with your very fast S being parked up for 6 months !
Seriously, the S & Turbo’s are for drivers...
The UK version of Car Magazine reviews all 3. It concludes that the Base delivers more than enough power for most driving, the S is the car to have and the Turbo‘s acceleration is far more than most drivers will need nor desire for the £ 30k differential...
I deleted My Porsche and then downloaded in case the manual is part of an update. In mine, it isn’t available. BUT I also downloaded a version on my iPad and it’s different to the iPhone version. In iPad version it now has a link to their Spot On videos whereas that isn’t in my newly downloaded...
All EV Cayennes come with Chrono. The S and Turbo have 'push to pass' the base doesn't.
I have thermal & noise cancelling glass but I haven't driven a car without it, so can't help in saying whether it works. The thermal element does seem to work and maybe more important on the Coupe as the...
