UK build dates

I’m in the same boat. Ordered a Turbo in Feb with a quoted 24week lead time from Tusker. Plan was to get out of my Etron GT when the lease was up in September. I am currently sat awaiting a build slot with late Dec 26 or early Jan 27 as my delivery dates.
Although Porsche Centre Portsmouth have been int ouch to try and tempt me with their 4 turbos they have in or coming soon. Sadly they are spec’d way higher than mine and out of my price range.

That's part of the problem with dealers now sitting with over specced stock some of which will become demonstrators in 3 months time.

The number of Macan EV GTS cars which became demo or Porsche Approved in a few short months since launch is an eye opener - 25 currently and all with ££££s off the original sticker price.

Wasn't launched though until June 2026 and so no orders would be fulfilled until after that launch date.

Same for othe Porsche models.

I think that’s the point. The standard if you are a Porsche enthusiast or a big fan. Not really the standard for many other cars.

would much rather they announce things when they are in a position to “launch”, instead of taking orders for December end to deliver July - if you didn’t order the wrong wheels.
But then again, one has the choice to go elsewhere and it is what it is.

I have a neue klasse x5 on order for my wife that will be delivered before my turbo.

And I own and previously owned 3 from Mercedes, all of which were new platforms, none of which were delivered 1 year after announcement.

I don’t have experience with Chinese brands

So my factual experience differs.

In any case, the individual holds the choice as I have noted earlier.
Facts and generalised statements notwithstanding.
