Visited local porsche centre today and was lucky both a turbo and base coupe on site ..apparently the turbo came in as potential demo and regular customer came in to see it and bought it..no waiting no queue...no 3 months as a demo🤔....obviously I'm not regular enough 😒

IMHO in the flesh the 21” spyder wheels on the coupe suited the car better than the 22s on the turbo …normally I’d go 22” every time ….now debating which way to go🧐😩

I haven"t seen the spyder wheels in the flesh but I have seen the Sport Techno's and the Cayenne Exclusive 22"s. While I still think the Sport Techno is the best option by miles, the Cayenne exclusive wheels look a lot smaller on the configurator than they do in real life, just the way actual light hits the aeroblades. I think something similar happens with the spyder wheels, the configurator makes the aero rim around the edge seem massive but especially on a new perfectly clean gloss black example they probably look bigger in person. Which makes sense as 21" is still far from small.

On a coupe I'd probably go with the sport classic inspired ones with the diamond cut finish. (Might still try to persuade my dealer to get me a set mine)

The 21“ spyders looked really good with the blackened Michelin pilot tyres up against the car …might not be as good with dirty tyres

If one can feel good about the 21” RS Spyder wheels, that would mean three nice things as we all know, e.g., less cost — $3K less than the SportTechno’s, more range, and more comfort on irregular pavement. Our 22”’s on our Macan are fine when the pavement is not bad (not even halfway to pothole bad, but repetitively bumpy and/or with 1” gouches or bumps), and then during that bad pavement section our gorgeous 22’ wheels we temporarily wished we wished were 21”’s.

Lucky Londoners. Glad for you.

My Pacific northwest coast U.S. dealership only has knowledge that a Turbo and a base is coming at some point but no ETA dates yet — and a “S” coupe’s arrival is forecast for September. Thankfully some dealers on the U.S. east coast already have a turbo and a base in their showroom.

Coupe is positioned next to SUV, looks really good and much smaller as compared to SUV in show room. Coupe is black and SUV algarve blue. Trunk is large based on my experience with SUV so really no need for SUV body style unless you have a specific reason. Only downside is lack is possibility to open panorama roof, and it’s amazing on SUV.

The rear ‘trunk’ on the Coupe is the same capacity as the Macan. I will miss the opening roof and massage seats.

Yes, volume wise. No if you cover trunk. Trunk is much deeper so makes it much more usable for luggage. Significant improvement over Macan IMHO.
