This car is getting great reviews. Will it take Taycan market share?

I strongly suspect it uses the exact same battery pack or at least the same configuration / cell types as the Taycan (since Porsche just gets them from Dräxlmaier). I think it's a small variation in communication / minor specs / margins but otherwise the same configuration.

Maserati: 92,5kWh / 83kWh usable / 270kW charging / 560kW peak output
Taycan: 93,4kWh / 83,7kWh usable / 270kW charging / 560kW peak output (Turbo S)

I'd rather have a Tesla Roadster than a Maserati. Build quality should be close but i've more confidence in Tesla than in Maserati for the tech

It might take interest of some folks, but Maserati as a whole has a long way to go to dig their away out of the poor reputation for reliability and build quality. Especially without the allure of having a detuned Ferrari engine, I can't see the Folgore doing too well.

It's possible they have multiple suppliers – but for sure I can confirm that the batteries I saw getting fitted to Taycan's during a factory tour were very clearly from LG Energy Solutions (I saw the labels attached to the batteries).

They confirm they supply the Taycan's batteries here: https://www.lgensol.com/en/business-automotive-battery

Very interested to learn if they have multiple suppliers – do you have anything recent link wise for me to read more.

I did stumble upon this article – https://www.electrive.com/2019/05/18/draxlmaier-launches-construction-of-taycan-batteries/ – but it was written as speculation and before the Taycan was released.
