On EA charging
EA in Oregon and along I-5 close to Oregon in WA/CA is surprisingly bad. When I still had mine and lived in Seattle I did the Seattle to SF/LA a few times (in both an e-tron and a Taycan). That stretch on I-5 was always the part that needs most planning.

I had an e-tron Sportback Prestige (the big battery one since it was in the US), before it was lemoned and I ordered a base Taycan.
They're extremely different cars in driving feel, very different in target audience, and surprisingly similar in technology. The e-tron is on the MLB Evo.2...
The cells could absolutely be LG, but the battery system /pack setup and design is Dräxlmaier.

I strongly suspect it uses the exact same battery pack or at least the same configuration / cell types as the Taycan (since Porsche just gets them from Dräxlmaier). I think it's a small variation in communication / minor specs / margins but otherwise the same configuration.

I think this has a lot of speculation that won't be correct. The Panamera is getting a new generation that's actually closer to a facelift with a new interior, and then I think the Panamera is going away. The Taycan essentially takes the EV Panamera spot in the line-up.
