There are several things I like about the Cayenne EV. Opinions voiced so far clearly do not agree with some of mine, by differing perspectives here are valued.
1) I really like the fake V-8 sound of the Cayenne EV —- and that it will be available at least as on option on even the entry version (perhaps standard there but that we do not yet know). Sound is found in this video “Cars” video at 8:15.
2)I like the ”Ferry Pad” as a place to rest one’s wrist/hand on when executing the many bottom functions on the new “Flow” center-stack IP screen. True some reviewers have liked it and others have noted that even after their test driving using it, that they needed more time to get used to it. However, the wrist pad concept/execution is not new, but been employed and useful in many previous vehicles, e.g., using it in my C8 for driving mode changes. Agreed that YMMV on it.
3) That there are five guage pods on the drivers IP screen, it having a width several inches larger than on my Macan EV and therefore more informationcustomization would be available. As noted positively by someone else earlier today, it emulated the Taycan’s screen.
4) That it will have 13 interior color/material choices. While I may not choose Pepita, I have friends who will, including others who like that they will have an animal free option.
