Sony announces electric cars.... What does that look like?

A little more boxy, but seems to mimic Taycan styling cues.....

Digital mirrors are interesting but TBH sort of defeat the purpose if one of the reasons to have them is to reduce drag (many other reasons of course). These cameras seem to stick out almost as much as an 'analog' mirror - would have thought they could come up with a more hidden or lower profile design. Guessing we'll see many variants soon.

Sorry, I don't think it does. For one, it doesn't have the crucial 911 shaped rear window, or the same svelt waistline.

Now if you said it looked like a Tesla...

Honestly in person it looks a lot less stylish that the Taycan. Functional. Very much what you would expect from an electronic device manufacturer.

Much more of a Telsa clone IMO

Well there is a whole auto hall at CES for automotive - has been for years. The media have focused more on smart homes/robots/TVs in the past, but there is a lot of activity in the automotive/EV/self-driving sector right now, so that's why it looks the way it does.
