Hi, fellow Macan owners share the pain of the rattling passenger seat bucket. Much to my surprise, B pillar in Cayenne looks very similar. Those of you who have seen the Cayenne, please confirm if the lower part of the B pillar indeed is hard plastic as well.
Took me some time to find out, but there is now an option to have the B pillar in leather. You need to choose "Inner door sill guards in leather with coloured decorative stitching" and then the lower part of the B pillar will be wrapped in leather as well (you can see the colour change with stitching in interior view). Quite a steep price though, nearly 2k in UK. I like to think this should be standard in upper class SUV.
I already ticked the box for roof lining in race tex so the additional price is hard to swallow. It's either roof or b-pillar for me. Let me know what you think.
