The car is in much better condition than the license plates. Maybe in strict Switzerland it is verboten to restore them !

I suppose you mean "cabriolet" and not 356 C...?
That would be a price difference of about 200-300K...

I had a pre-A 356 that would be worth god knows how much (if it had not dissolved into rust!)..at least my brother's Volkswagen beetle benefited from getting the Porsche engine that slipped right in!

There's 356 A B and C but cabriolets are usually much more expensive.
