I wrote to Tag Heuer customer service on August 1st and today I got a reply:
"Here are the information we retrieved concerning the TAG Heuer Formula 1 Chronograph - Special Edition DM London 2016:
This Limited Edition was done in conjunction with DM London (The Watch Gallery), who at that time...
This is my cheapest watch.
It's just for wearing while doing actual labour. 😇
Of course I modified it.
After modifying:
Before, I really didn't like the hands...
Can you guess the price of this watch?
PS It's just a extremely rare coincidence that it looks like the Patek Philippe Nautilus...
Got one too.
Love it!
At the time of buying (Chrono24 in 2020) it wasn't that special, just a nice used Formula 1.
After I got it a few years I saw the new series Formula 1 (2023) which had an orange second hand and I wanted that too, together with the strap of the Gulf Edition:
So I made an...
1965 Certina Waterking 275.
Yes, that's a 28 jewels watch!
Fully restored, serviced and new lume.
First time I tried reluming, it's a nerve-racking experience but I'm pretty satisfied with the result!
Had this laying around for quite some time but I wanted to celebrate his 60th birthday and now...
Keep on dreaming.
There's no place for a halo car at Tesla now that Chinese brands take over the EV market.
Tesla is already lowering prices in China, that's a sign you can't ignore.
Besides, the Cybertruck comes first, mules have been spotted already but the Roadster 2.0 is never been seen...
That's ridiculous.
With my '20 Turbo S I get at least 180 mls in winter with sub zero temps.
Summer 220+.
After replacing, it takes a few days to accept the new value.
It'll be ok for another year(s).
Thoughts: Moehahahahaha! ????
Good one! ??
A 911 is a thoroughbred sportscar.
A Taycan is a sporty familycar.
Also, it's electric vs petrol.
Totally different cars, totally different experience imho.
I really can't tell you as these things are very personal.
I had a 992 C4S but I really prefer the Taycan FWIW.
I do like the interior, very very nice indeed.
But a Lotus SUV? WTF? ?
I guess every single brand just wants to jump onto the EV wagon...
I do understand it though.
You have to have volume models to make money (or exclusive and expensive low production volume).
And SUVs are popular.
Maybe we'll...
Great value for money.
The finish and quality is mind-blowing, really.
I just love CW. ?
PS CW also has a magazine if you don't want to miss their new releases.
Nice coupons too.
I really don't like modern 911s.
They're way too heavy and too big.
Yes, they drive excellent, I know.
Another thing I hate is the analog rev counter in the middle of digital screens, very ugly imho.
Another thing is that you can't even see the engine anymore, just fans, no, not a fan...
Freshly restored Seiko 5 model 7009-3100 from October 1995.
New crystal, refurbished the case and bracelet.
And I made a sunburst. ?
Runs well.
On the right my 2022 Tissot PRX.
Do you follow when I say Tissot has some very 70s styling? ?
It all depends what your definition is of "car feeling".
A Panamera doesn't have such a low CoG so it will drive differently.
Same for the Cayman/911 (as in mid/rear engined) or any other Porsche (ride height etc).
Also, your "rotation point" is completely different cuz of the longer wheelbase...
The comparison should be Panamera vs Taycan, same weight, same kind of car.
Nürburgring lap times:
'23 Taycan Turbo S (20,8km): 7:33.35
'20 Panamera Turbo (20,8km): 7:29.81
And for comparison:
992 Turbo S: 7:17.30 and there's your answer it's just silly to compare a 911 to a Taycan.
Don't even...
I had the 992 as a loaner while my Taycan was in the shop after a rear end collision after just 78km by someone texting...?
Nothing serious but waiting for parts took two months.
So two months of 992 driving so I have a good comparison between the two.
My Taycan holds up very well, no serious...
Absolutely not*.
It's your opinion and that's fine.
But the 911 is designed as a thoroughbred sportscar (with many variant, GTx/RS).
It drives very well, even on long drives, it's very versatile but to me it doesn't sound right when you classify a 911 as a GT.
*=This GT definition has many...
