HUD - different functionality depending on settings

Hi,

having the car now for a few months I today found out a "new" feature. I noticed the traffic sign icon early in cockpit but complained it was too small and would be better placed in HUD. Well, changed HUD today slightly (from speed circle above imaginary line for icons to just slightly lower - thought it would just viual preference). Guess what, now traffic light icon is showing up in HUD on the right hand side next to speed limit icon.

I’ve only just noticed that the steering wheel heating comes on with the seat heating. The manual says it should but I never noticed it before the recent colder weather.

I've always had my HUD set in such a way that displays the Traffic Sign Icon, but what is the point of it anyway? Is it a feature associated with Drive Assist (i didn't spec Drive Assist) Am i right to suggest that in some regions a countdown to green light is provided too? I'm pretty sure i don't get a countdown. Am i missing something?

Yes, there are two very similar settings with circle around speed. When you select to modify the HUD, the selection line appears, try out the setting where the circle slightly cuts through this line. Whether traffic light count down is part of drive assist I don’t know. Really helpful in certain situations where you can’t see traffic lights. On my Mercedes, also front camera turned on automatically. This now happens as well, somehow not consistent though
