luckily got another month on the configurator before having to make a decision, been given a build slot of Sep 22nd

still trying to decide between Carrara White Metallic with carbon sport pack

I like the Carrara White version more, but I'm biased as I'm going for Carrara white on my turbo!

Agree fully. Please re-read my first two sentences, I noted that there are three bold ones and specifically listed Algarve as one of the three. It is a very exciting color and to us our choice will be between Madeira and Algarve.

I think there seems to be a disagreement on what is meant by "bold". In my experience, a "bold" colour is one which is bright, unusual, and stands out from the crowd. Madeira Gold fits that description. Algarve, a deep, dark blue, is not what I would call "bold".

Exactly why there are colors choices for us all, and for those not happy with standard 13, another 92 PTS ones.

There are tons of similar “not enough bold color” posts on the MidEngineCorvetteForum, the BMW blogs and forums, etc. Canddily IMO that is due to us customers who not matter what the brand (Lambo excepted), overwhelmingly and repeatedly pick whites, black, and greys a massive amount. Consequently why the OEM’s offer a plethora of those latter three.

I’m going with Napoli Blue just to be a bit different with Turbonite techno wheels and chalk beige interior. I hope I’ve done the right thing. At the end of the day we all have different tastes and there is no right or wrong colour. The white, grey and blacks are all safe colours. I would be happy with any of them to be honest. Some just interest me more than others. Wheel choice can also make a a big difference with exterior colour choice. I would love to go PTS, but the budget has its limits. I’m already heavily speccing a Turbo.
