To me there’s plenty of performance on offer, of course nothing like the Turbo but still enough to get you in trouble with the peelers.

Genuinely I am shocked by just how much adjustment is possible in each of the systems. Will take me a lifetime to learn it all and at my age there’s only room for so much info before something else has to be dumped out to make room. Reckon by next week I will have forgot my wife’s name. 😂

This is a question to those that have had the Cayenne EV with adaptive crusie control, how can you turn out the steering assist part of the ACC?

I tried to find it in the menu system but I am at a loss how it’s done.

its one of the most stupidest functions ever invented 🤔.On other vehicles I own ..if you forget to indicate around a cyclist the dam thing steers you back into them ….🥴… the tech ain’t good enough …end of 😵💫😉

I figured it out, hit the “car” logo on the screen and then hit “assistance”, in there you can turn off the active steer in ACC and engage the auto speed sign function that slows and speeds the up to the appropriate speed, a function I have found to be invaluable with speed camera vans all over the place.

To turn off lane departure warning for normal driving you can either press and hold the button on the bottom of the cruise stalk or like me setup personal drive mode on the centre screen that you press and activate each time you start off.

First wash since I got it finally home. Ceramic coating makes a world of difference to washing a car.

Quick warning for those washing your Cayenne if the hose goes remotely under the rear of the car the boot lid opens which isn’t ideal when you are trying to wash the back, likewise the charging port opens when I was washing with the mitt. Only suggestion which I will be doing in future is make sure the key isn’t in your pocket or near the car.

Looks amazing, really beautiful spec! Out of curiosity, what is the purpose of different colours on the number plate?
I couldn’t tell you why they are different but they have been like this for a very long time.

Since 1973, car registration plates in the UK have been white at the front, and yellow at the rear, and the reason is so that it's easy to see at a glance which way a car is pointing, at night and in poor weather.
