Good info here in the video. Coincidentally there was an inside EV’s article I read earlier today with our best estimated range info so far.

Inisdeev’s said:
The newly introduced S is the longest-range model in the lineup, with a WLTP-estimated 405 miles (653 kilometers) on a full charge, nearly 7 miles (11 km) more than the base model and 18 miles (30 km) more than the Cayenne Turbo. None of the electric Cayenne models has an EPA range rating yet.

2.7 mile / kWH from what I've read elsewhere is not "spectacular" efficiency (my Taycans achieved better but range sucked due to low net usable) however saved by the large battery to provide 300 miles + (more if on 20" rims) of range will satisfy most IMHO.

How is the infrastructure in the “best EV-adapted” states in general?

Scandinavia might be a bit of an outlier, but if your car has a WLTP range of 500 km or more, you’re typically fine. Chargers are widely available, so real-world consumption becomes less of a concern. Europe (especially EU countries) is also very well equipped overall.

I had assumed the US was at a similar level of development, meaning range wouldn’t be as critical there either. Not entirely sure how things compare in the UK, though.

Depends if one plans ahead of course. We have taken very successful EV road trips in our Macan EV. The newer EA 350 KW chargers worked very well on every trip for us In the Pacific Northwest. Of course if one goes in the middle of nowhere one has to super plan ahead.
