Your 2019 3 has a more basic Autopilot than the one that is included now.I have a different view. I have a model 3 from 2019 with basic autopilot! Maybe there is another version apart from FSD, which I have no interest in.
The Taycans Innodrive is much much better than Tesla basic autopilot. You can indicate, change lanes without the autopilot disengaging. It drives the car much smoother both when accelerating as well as when catching up other traffic. It slows down ( a tad too much maybe) at roundabouts and motorway exits, which my Tesla does not do.
And most important of all! I have NOT one single time had any of Teslas famous Phantom braking events in the Porsche! None.
Even other Tesla drivers that have tested the Innodrive have commented on how smooth and well the the Taycan operates.
The PCM. Backup camera and map updates etc is a long long way behind Tesla, but the essential driving SW is much better as @f1eng staed above.
One pedal driving is probably the best marketing solution I have ever heard of to cover up a massive shortcoming.
The new ones have included green light notification and a lot of stuff that used to be in the EAP package. So basic autopilot now does almost all the FSD did in 2019, but you wont have summon and lane change/on/offramp on basic ap. But other features are there, like green light notifications etc. which used to be in FSD package, its now basic AP.
Be aware that the "new" fsd software is not yet in Europe, so the software is more advanced in USA+Cannada. Not sure when EU gets it, maybe in several years(?)..
