LOL I did the exact same thing. I told them I would rather see more chargers installed and make the existing ones more reliable. On every question where there was a space to enter comments, I would repeat that sentiment but rephrased it a bit.
My comment was based on my brother’s EV6 from a while back. It has since gotten the software updates, and now even has preconditioning so it doesn’t tapers anymore. His just went from 20-90% SOC in less than 30 minutes so it’s just as fast as the Taycan now.
In the US, the only thing I'd like from Tesla is #4. Once we have that or an infrastructure like that from EA er any other entity, then the Taycan would be a perfect car. I can't wait for the day when I can leave on a trip and not have to plan out my route first. When I am low on charge, I...
Since this thread is about going back to a Tesla, so I was referring to the Model 3 when I said M3, but yeah I can see it could be confusing. A Model 3 is no M3, no offense to any beamer fans lol
My son has this settings turned down to the lowest setting in his M3, and when I release the go pedal, it still slows down very, very fast. So, in essence, you can't turn it off.
Also, on your previous post, you said why it takes 2 seconds to open the garage door with Homelink, mine definitely...
Are you saying you only get a little over 130 miles on a full charge in a RWD in the winter? I get much more than that in my turbo, and I drive quite aggressively even in the winter.
No Teslas for me thank you very much.
While I was waiting to get my car, I came on here and read so many comments from members raising concerns and it definitely made me question my decision to order mine. But, fortunately, my car has been virtually trouble free aside from a couple minor issues like going into park, and having to...
Nice watch 25,000 USD
Casio 100 USD
Both tell time. The Taycan is “only” 2x more than the Kia, while your nice watch is 250x more than a regular watch. In that perspective, I’ll take the Taycan, and I have. ;)
…just messing with ya
Yeah it has the 800v tech, but I was very surprised how quickly it tapers off as the SOC increases. At 85% it was only pulling 28 kW whereas mine was pulling 76.6 right next to it. I know we don’t charge past 85% much but still.
Styling wise, I prefer the EV6 over tge Ioniq 5, but the Taycan...
I totally disagree. $60k for 0-60 in 3.5s, and super nice build quality is a bargain. My brother has a EV6 GT Line so I was able to have an extended review of it. They did a fantastic job with the car.
To enable one pedal driving, you'd select Hold, and my dad says he never has to use the brakes with this option. To disable it, you'd choose choose roll.
Actually, the one pedal driving CAN be disabled. We've done that on my dad's Model 3 at first, but then once he tried it, he loved it so stuck with it.
If you watch his other videos you’ll see that your observation is correct. He tested that TTS by itself using Draggy and it was slower than a typical TTS. I noticed it too when I watched it last week.
