Pending exterior colour, I like those better. But's that's just me. Selected those when I chose algarve blue. I personally don't think Techno in turbonite will look great on all exterior colours.

Should I add to your agony? Techno look so much better in person. Really impressive. Yes, would push your dealer.

Activating Factory Options via Dealer After Delivery?

Passenger screen. Does anyone has experience with Macan EV MY 26? Seems like functionality is limited to PCM, Apple car play doesn't seem to extend to passenger screen. Girls love to be the DJ and I wanted to avoid them touching my screen. There are now apps like Amazon music etc but they would...

Activating Factory Options via Dealer After Delivery?

Some of the cars functionality can be see as software programs in the storage manager. From recollection, looks different to Macan but may be wrong. So yes, there might be an option to purchase some of the functionality at a later point. Will have a look tomorrow if mood modes are a software...

My Cayenne base EV finally arrived (first impressions, reviews, updates)

Quick update, got Pepita Thermos cup and Drinks bottle - Motorsport as present. Thought that's a little cheap, why not giving me a thermos drinking water bottle as well. Well, as it turns out, if you put Thermos cup in position one (next to iPhone) and Drinks bottle - Motorsport in position 2...

All Cayenne Production May Be moved to Leipzig

Bratislava is not owned by Porsche, it's owned by VW. Very interesting, let's see how this plays out. Due to the special VW law, Lower Saxony labour government has the last say.

My Cayenne base EV finally arrived (first impressions, reviews, updates)

Apparently they have special Porsche playlists, unfortunately I am going to miss out as I don't have Spotify.

My Cayenne base EV finally arrived (first impressions, reviews, updates)

Update, seat position apparently only works in park and not while driving. Back to 1,2&3 I guess. Damn safety implementation. Also why do they need to put permanent air bag sticker on passenger visor 🤬.

My Cayenne base EV finally arrived (first impressions, reviews, updates)

Let me first check if it works, didn’t arrive yet. If I remember correctly, you need to tick kerbs warning but may be activated by default. Clicked to many options lately to be certain.

    Energy consumption - main thread

It's too early for me :CWL: . I started at 1.5 and now at 2.7.

My Cayenne base EV finally arrived (first impressions, reviews, updates)

Kerb warning (no prior experience) - I like it with clear indication of tyres at risk. Little bit on the cautious side turning red at around 10 cm distance - maybe due to RAS. If you approach at a larger angle (rim not at risk) no red warning. So far so good.

Widgets. There are 3 pages with different number and sizes of tiles. Assigning new functionality is as easy as it gets but I have no idea if you can realign or change size of tiles like for example on iPhone. Manual not very helpful. Due to complexity of PMC and suboptimal manual a dedicated...

Mood modes: More than just a gimmick. You can assign seating position to certain modes. That’s absolutely brilliant so I do not have to remember if I assigned sporty position to 1, 2 or 3 😂. It’s standard in UK.

Consumption: 1.4 to 2.4 mi/kWh so far 😂 Car really doesn’t like the heat, yesterday evening after leaving car exposed in the sun the battery fan went onto max (I at least assume so). Super noisy, like those street cleaning council trucks.

My Cayenne base EV finally arrived (first impressions, reviews, updates)

Well, I looked at some storage solutions on the internet and I think I found some that would work but need to do some final measurements. Same for rear entertainment, I think I found a solution. Overall I like to think it was the right call in terms of design. Ferry pad is amazing, centre arm...

My Cayenne base EV finally arrived (first impressions, reviews, updates)

Centre console, still an ongoing battle and not sure if I am going to come on top of it. There simply is no space (if both cup holders are in use) to leave you keys and smaller items like display cleaner organised. If you put cupholders in the higher position, everything slides beneath and is...

My Cayenne base EV finally arrived (first impressions, reviews, updates)

Curved screen, best thing since sliced bread. Not sure about those negative comments from some professional car reviewers, feels natural from the start and using it is so much more comfortable and ergonomically. Split screen as mentioned above is just amazing and you can quickly go to full...

My Cayenne base EV finally arrived (first impressions, reviews, updates)

So had a go at widgets, they are amazing. Really helps to customise your car to address your needs. In particular useful with apple car play. The integration of apple car play is the best I have ever seen, you can have the upper part of display for 3rd party apps like Waze (shows traffic and...

    Digital keys and user profiles

Had the same problem this morning. Was only temporary, somehow car didn't recognise me and I needed to adjust seats. Let's see if this reoccurs. I think also app lost connection.

My Cayenne base EV finally arrived (first impressions, reviews, updates)

Things I noticed yesterday evening (in comparison to Macan EV): - I like to think the configurator represents the exterior of the car quite well overall. Car appears much longer though. - PMC is much more complex (in a good way). Widgets are mazing but haven’t customized them yet. Overall...
