Just took it for an other ride. As expected, comparison to 911 wasn't fair. For an SUV, it drives really sporty and you get used to the size really quickly. I think RWS makes a big difference, you feel it much more than on Macan EV. Even in sports, drive comfort is really pleasant. Didn't put it...
Car finally arrived, little delays here and there so ended up with 911 for 2 hours to do some errants.
In comparison to Macan EV, significant upgrade in terms of build quality, feel and ride comfort. Shouldn't have driven 911 beforehand, due to seating position, size and lack of engine sound...
Active ride seems particularly brilliant in Panamera. Haven’t driven one unfortunately, but ride comfort without is still amazing for such a low car. Have a look on Porsche’s website - Panamera gen 3 available with active ride are rare (only 11). Some of the qualities of German engineering can...
Some of the rims can be easily painted for relatively little money - friend did it for his 911. Porsche Switzerland charged similar amount to factory order. Hope this eases your mind. I feel the opposite, for reasons stated above by you, I decided to leave the side window trim in silver. Not so...
Interesting. They certainly want to make sure they hand over a working car in your case. I think my PDI is not yet done, arriving at dealer on Wednesday. I have a new battery widget but remote services not activated obviously.
UPDATE delivery for UK - 24th of June confirmed
Just spoke to my sales person. For UK, cars can be registered from 24th onwards. In regards to Software update, my sales person had no explicit information but thinks it may be part of PDI.
Just looked at BMW out of curiosity, "Heart of Joy" only planned for electric and hydrogen. My previous comment was a little harsh out of frustration and yes, future mass products like Polo (ID 1 2027) or new Golf (ID 3) will indeed be based on RIVIAN platform/technology but that's not really...
That's the idea and that's why VW invested heavily in this joint venture. But like every battle plan, never survives first contact or reality. It's Audi and Porsche pushing back ! I was surprised as well as I thought suboptimal Porsche software gets finally sorted. Someone here or Macan EV forum...
My salesperson has no clue, guess I find out on Tuesday or Wednesday.
This is what I posted in an other thread. I like to think this is now part of PDI but others do not share my view at all.
"Thanks to the Cayenne's new electronic architecture, the vehicle software can be installed much...
Just checked, I don't have open recall and PDI will be carried out at dealer next week (car still in transit so nobody would have done the recall). Strange.
Thank you very much for clarifying. Should be part of Pre-Delivery Inspection - Technicians connect the car to Porsche diagnostic systems to scan for faults, update software modules, and program the vehicle's keys.
Is the software update mentioned by @Moheisen(FirstEV) considered a recall or recall specific to @PetrK 's Cayenne S? Recall seems a little strong for just a minor software update.
Would love it on Cayenne S if you could activate push to pass and regen mode via paddles. I had paddles on previous cars but why would I want to use them? Kick-down is all I ever used. And that's what I want on my base Cayenne, just give me that extra power when really needed like overtaking...
