Congrats! I’ve been enjoying the Cayenne EV in Singapore for a few weeks now. I’ve been taking it out for some midnight spirited driving from one end of the ECP to the other these past few nights! (late supper fix is just an excuse to drive the car lol. )
To get the high-G feel and maximum...
Hi Richmond, its great to see another owner from Singapore!
I took delivery of the Cayenne at the first week of August. LTA homogolation will not be delayed as there are several Cayenne EVs on the road already. (including early owners + demo cars)
It was the main instrument. I suspect it might just be the particular angle at a particular time of the day. Will explore the matt screen options. Thanks for the replies.
Has anyone noticed sunlight reflecting off the curved display into the rear passengers' faces?
I drove the demo car today, and my rear passenger pointed out that sunlight was reflecting off the curved screen directly onto her face. I'm wondering if this is something others have experienced or...
Being in a tropical country, this concerns me. Will this activate even if the car is locked, not charging and parked under a hot sun? Isn't that weird if this happens?
Appreciate the detailed reviews CHP! Keep them coming
Could you kindly share some links to the solutions that'll help with center storage?
Also, with regards to the kerb warnings, is there any settings in the PCM to activate this?
I wanted to spec Mood Modes because I have the passenger display, but I missed the option before my order freeze date.
Does anyone know how likely it is that a Porsche dealer can activate Mood Modes after delivery? It seems like it is a software only activation (no hardware?) or is it only...
I’m on the fence too. My spec comes with Bose, and I know audio is deeply subjective. Cayenne ICE owners are probably the best reference point… the Bose/Burmester implementation should carry over closely to the EV.
The opinions split every way: some say Bose is perfectly fine, some say...
A friend's Taycan had its LFP battery fail within three years. Porsche Singapore quoted him around USD 4,500 for the replacement. I reckon that's enough to swap out 10+ AGM batteries from a third party shop with PIWIS coding. And unlike AGM, sourcing OEM LiFePO4 in Singapore isn't exactly...
The owner's manual confirms the Cayenne EV uses a 12-volt LiFePO4 lithium onboard supply battery... was expecting an AGM like the Macan EV which is running on PPE as well. (i do prefer AGM)
