Why do so many people want a Taycan to be more like Tesla?

Another T junk thread, really?

What I see in Europe and particularly in China: Nobody gives a rats ass about the T junk anymore. Way too expensive for a naked interior with terrible usability and horrendous quality and reliability.

Saturady night on our last longer trip with our MS90D junk which failed to charge on a T junk super charger. Sold it a couple of weeks ago. Finally no more T junk again.
I suspect that unless Tesla ups their game on quality and driving experience, it will become a lower margin, mass-produced brand. Nothing wrong with that but the early mover cachet is dwindling quickly.

They've already discontinued the RHD versions of Model S and X.

Do you think they can ever compete with Toyota and VW, Ford on the lower end? That is a total dead end!

On the higher end, sure there are always a few crazy people waste their money, but for how long can they be cheated if there is so much better out there?

So what is left?

I got a new EQA 250+ last month. The software is miles ahead of T junk. The driving assist just works with min amount of noise. The range is great, the predicted range is true, not fake like in T junk. With real buttons like in an ICE, low consumption and with the charging card, charge in 31 markets with 400k charging points without any hickups. Money is taken off via direct debit from the account.

Why would anybody waste money on a naked fart app with wheels?

Is blended regenerative and mechanical braking using the brake pedal included in a Tesla or is regeneration only done when lifting off the throttle in 1-pedal mode?

Edited to correct to Tesla

When you say electric car, the Brand who made the name for it is Tesla, no discussion here. I think this is why general motor journalism compare Tesla to anything else on the market as benchmark. To me this is totally irrelevant. I had test driven properly the Plaid Model S and it’s a very nice car to drive, including cornering. It’s a complete different and impressive car compared to the model S I have driven in 2020 before buying my ex I-Pace.
Not for me and I don’t like it ?.
Taycan CT I just fell in love. I even fell In Love with my VW Caravelle. Can’t feel anything when looking at or driving any Tesla.
