I guess taycan is no longer a porsche / included in those satisticsYep. But that's the poll about perceive quality, right after the sale. Not about the reliability.
Porsche is still scoring high on that one:

It’s fashionable for some to trash talk the Taycan, but we have had ours now for 3 months shy of 2 years. It’s my wifes daily driver and it’s had exactly ZERO trips to the dealer for any repair or maintenance. ZERO. Our 2023 Taycan 4S Cross Turismo has been a model of reliability and remains the most exciting car we’ve ever been around to drive or even just look at.I guess taycan is no longer a porsche / included in those satistics

I just moved into a 2024 CT4S with agreed value more than 5x that of my 4 year old Tesla Model 3 Performance, and the Porsche's insurance premium is LESS than the TeslaSome insurance companies refuse to insure it because of UN-reliable it is; while other insurers just put insane premiums on insuring taycans
Porsche would have beaten out the highly esteemed marques of Chevrolet and Buick were it not for our Taycan.I guess taycan is no longer a porsche / included in those satistics
What kind of insurance are referencing? It's been rated least reliable car in UK, switzerland and EU for 2 years staright.
Facts usually beat anecdotal evidence

Somebody just posted about how water can get inside the HV battery, and it will take forever before the car tells you that there are major electrical failures in the battery and the body of the car is electrified; all while letting you drive.
My car has also been quite reliable, but that is anecdotal evidence. And i can acknowledge that
So if a specific car type goes to the service shop 12 times a year, on average, for every one of them on the road, you are saying insurance companies will just pay it out, no worries, they won't even care, do full replacement of batteries 2-3 times a year, and not increase premiums for that car type? What kind of insurance are referencing?
In the U.S., car insurance (as opposed to some sort of extended maintenance plan) is unrelated to reliability. (Repair cost for collisions, yes, that is certainly a factor. But car insurance here doesn't cover mechanical failure unrelated to collisions.)
I am saying that car insurance polices in the U.S. cover exactly none of that.So if a specific car type goes to the service shop 12 times a year, on average, for every one of them on the road, you are saying insurance companies will just pay it out, no worries, they won't even care, do full replacement of batteries 2-3 times a year, and not increase premiums for that car type?
Obviously, gross exageration, but that is the case with taycan. Since 2020, insurance cost for it 3-4x in switzerland. In uk 3-6x. In the rest of europe at least 3x. In UK some companies just refuse to insure it because of how many times it goes to service.
But now you are saying that insurance companies don't do that? Mhmm.... dunno about that one
I agree completely. I've had the HV heater issue, but other than that my only visits to the dealer for my 2021 Taycan 4s have been mundane software updates. Of course I wish those were OTA, but honestly it hasn't been a hassle. It’s fashionable for some to trash talk the Taycan, but we have had ours now for 3 months shy of 2 years. ...I have had my 2020 4S since new in September 2020 and have had no problems save those of my own doing. I plan to keep it as long as I can warrantee it....at least 8 years.
My experience with my 2020 4S has been similar. Very happy with the car!I agree completely. I've had the HV heater issue, but other than that my only visits to the dealer for my 2021 Taycan 4s have been mundane software updates...Best car I've ever owned ?
