I think the great braking performance is mostly due to the ability to regen up to 600 kW power - like having about 805 HP pulling in the opposite direction.
I think it is also on the Active Ride reducing dive during braking. This allows the rear brakes (and rear axle regen) to be more effective than if all the weight was up front.
Good point. It would be intersting for anyone we trust to do real testing (same day, same driver), to have two Cayenne EV’s that are identical except one would have Active Ride. Then we could see comparo braking, acceleration, sport car track lap comparative time, weight, and more. Ideally even range diff when AR is engaged and not.
