The UK is hoping it isn’t included in ‘EU’ tariffs increase - the king took the p**s in his speech and Trump didn’t notice and seems to have (yet again) changed his mind on his view of the ‘special relationship’. Bentley, Rolls Royce, Land Rover and especially Jaguar, currently have 10% tariffs on the first 100,000 cars.
Jaguar will especially be hit when 100,000 UK cars is reached as their switch to all EV and expensive new model is already a difficult market. Basic price of the new model is rumoured to start at circa $ 130k. Apparently it’s thought to be similar to the Porsche EV at 1,000+ hp and 400 miles range although not an EV but a Taycan GT competitor.
