Wrapping this up, after 4 weeks, my 911 is finally back home. During those 4 weeks, I was out of town more than not, but when home, I drove the Taycan quite a bit.

Getting back into the 911 was jarring, but in a good way. It’s much stiffer, louder, smaller, and a more involved driving experience. Which is what I prefer, even as a daily.

It’ll probably be a while before I drive the Taycan again.

I had a Taycan Turbo, a Macan Turbo EV, and soon I’ll have a Cayenne Turbo EV. I’ve also had the chance to test the first two several times on track against the 911 and the 2026 911 GTS. There’s no comparison.

The 911 is a beautiful car, but compared to the first two it’s almost unusable. The Taycan is a hypercar—it’s simply not comparable to a 911. With the Taycan you can take corners at 45 degrees like in a video game without the car even moving. It’s on another level.

Driving comfort at 300 km and above is superior even to a Range Rover Vogue and similar cars. It’s like a living room on wheels with the speed of a missile.

The Macan has even more torque, but it loses a bit in handling compared to the Taycan due to its height. Still, it’s a better car than the 911.

In my opinion, a 911 should be an extra car, or something to buy together with 4–5 friends and share on the occasional weekend. On track, in some situations, you may “feel” the 911 more, but it doesn’t push and it doesn’t feel fast—it almost seems stationary (2026 GTS mono-turbo) compared to the Turbo EVs.

For those who have just tried the new Cayenne Turbo EV, the feedback is: it’s like a Taycan Turbo, but double in everything!! An unbeatable “truck” of a car, ultra-luxurious, with no rivals for years. Power and road holding that are unimaginable for 1,150 hp and 1,500 Nm of torque—three times a 911 and double some Taycans.

The 911 made history. “Beautiful, but it doesn’t dance.”
