Instead of Passenger Display?

On the passenger side the expanse of either the flat black plastic panel or glass display rubs me wrong. The display glass there would rub me moreso since it costs $2240 and would not be used. Since I'm not getting the display I'm looking for ideas on what modification to do here. Ideas so far:

1. Cover the panel in RaceTex or leather and perhaps embroider something onto the covering?
2. Mount for a horse whip for when the kids in the back seat are acting up?
3. Secret door to hide cash, guns, drugs, a list of excuses of why you missed work because you were driving around in your new Porsche, or whatever makes you happy?

What do you have? What is up with the airbag location for the passenger?

2 and 3 sound great, it's for MY27 . 1 will look suboptimal unless you are willing to spent serious cash. Screen protector ( passenger screen) however may work. If it's entirely flat you can also use thin acrylic panel.

Why do you say serious cash? I'm thinking $500 at a local custom interior. The key are how easily is the panel removed and is there enough clearance on the edges for the material.

It's up too you. I am not a fan of the passenger screen either but optioned it as I don't want go down your route on a brand new car. Any rattle and you are on your own. $500 sounds very fair for custom build and installation, expected more. Just make sure you go for Singer and not Gotham Garage
