Cayenne Exterior Paint Scheme

Hi all - starting to explore the Cayenne EV and I cant figure out why some vehicles have the front lip and rear diffuser in black while some are color matched.

For example, the pictures below show two cars I found online with these different schemes. It seems paint match is the default (as on the Porsche configurator)...but what option/package changes this to black?

Sports design package is the difference! When you option it you get the body color painted trims as seen in the picture. What that basically means is that if you do NOT option it, it will stay black.

Thanks but that is not it (at least not in USA). On the configurator it makes no difference whether sport design package is selected or not (configurator always show paint matched diffuser).

Yeah, I just figured it out. Check the base-model in your configurator and you will see that the Sports design Package isn't standard and needs to be added. Apparently, this is for the US, the "S-model" has it included already and therefore you see it as soon as you open the configurator.

I think I figured it out. Seems to be the base model is black/unpainted and the S and above get color matched. Thats a shame because I think the black looks much better!

Except when you get close up and it’s unpainted grey
