    Lane assist

Odd - should always default to 'On' - both my Taycans did - MY21 & MY23, not sure about J1.2 but doubt it. All of these EU mandatory aids (ADAS) most be active when ignition first switched on.

    Lane assist

Lane Change or Lane Keep? Press the button on the underside of the lower left stalk to see a message / press and hold to disable (same on all Porsches). On Cayenne EV - additionally you can swipe down from the top on the central display and you should also see an option to disable various...

Cayenne EV - Chalk Beige (RoW) / Limestone Beige (NA), Lavender (same for all), Taycan - Blackberry same for all countries.

Why no road tests for the Cayenne S

I had the S Coupé on extended loan this weekend and covered around 300 miles (Aberdeen to Fort Augustus (Loch Ness) and back). The ride was sublime on the car which had 22" rims which was a total surprise. Taller tyre profile clearly helps. 18-way seat - good but prefer 14-way. Entire trip...

You can programme one of the Joker (diamond) buttons to do that. One on the steering wheel and one on the instrument binnacle.

Cayenne S won't remember my seat position

I had a Cayenne S EV over the weekend and had no issues with this and worked as per other Porsches. Saving to a memory button is an optional step and the profile relates to the key and not a given memory button. Pressing 'Set' results in a "saved" tone meaning that any adjustment is saved...

Why no road tests for the Cayenne S

S and Turbo have different size rear motors (both are oil cooled (base model isn't), inverters are 620 amps on the S and 940 amps on the Turbo and gearing will be different also. PTV+ will feature on the Turbo (aids dynamics) and has bigger brakes as you might expect. Efficiency is obviously...

Drivers seat position when rear seats are down

Personally. my order of preference (based on usefulness and budget) would be: rear wheel / axle steering (parking will be a doddle), Bose is likely good (standard is probably fine for most non-audiophiles) and passenger display would be pointless and never used. Had RAS on 2 Taycans and would...

Drivers seat position when rear seats are down

Use the memory buttons on the driver's door OR when you have the position set and the comfort feature enabled your settings should automatically be saved to the active profile assigned to your key and recalled when you unlock the car.

Cayenne S won't remember my seat position

Only the Macan EV and Cayenne EV support "walk-away" locking that Im aware of (this can change by model year on other models). Providing the doors, frunk and trunk are closed the car should lock when 3m away and inlock when you approach. Check the Comfort (Locking) settings in the PCM that it...

Cayenne S won't remember my seat position

Yes separate digital keys and profiles. Take care when unlocking / locking the car as that determines which key then profile / id is used. With physical keys same procedure.

Cayenne S won't remember my seat position

Create a Porsche ID for each user and let that person use the other key. The profile is then associated to the key to login to the PCM and automatically recall comfort and ergonomic settings. If sharing a key and profile then use the memory buttons to recall the ergonomic settings. Whoever...

    What's your "real world" range?

It is true - but what wheels were on either car, what models were they etc. Minor efficiency gains in 5 years with the motors whilst Porsche fiddled with the software and rear wheel drive bias. Range mode started with using the front motor only and was then changed to be more rear wheel drive...

    What's your "real world" range?

The 'efficiency" in the Taycan from J1.1 to J1.2 was achieved with a larger usable battery capacity and pretty much nothing else. Consumption barely improved but range did by a useful amount. Consumption figures across the Porsche EV range tend to be very similar and not stellar when compared...

2027 Cayenne Electric EV gets more colors (PTS paint-to sample) and more features: automatic opening doors, massage / ventilated seats with 4D audio

£6K for both, limited install options and the cost of a 3 phase supply - that'll be a "no" then!

    Charging impaired need servicing

I would get this message on my Taycan if I forgot to check that the DC charge port flap had sprung back into position before the powered charge port door would close after charging. The door would attempt to close and automatically reopen due to the obstruction.
