Same for me, i was also offered the dealerships first Coupe showroom car. I've been told that they're expecting a demo car this month. They don't know when or even what model though.

How patient should i be before i start pestering for a VIN? Seems like they're available weeks ahead of production starting

I would always scan the QR code on the charger from within the My Porsche App. Found this method was flawless. Had a nightmare with the Charging Card once. Never used it again.

Thanks for the update. I did ask my dealer but i very quickly got the impression they didn't really know anything more than me. But i did at least get verbal confirmation that theyve done all they can at their end. Car locked in the system and now we wait. It's a shame about TYD. I'd definitley...

I'm at the dealership tomorrow and this is precisely one of the questions i have for them. I havent received any emails from Porsche regarding my order. Has me doubting its in the system correctly. I'm sure they'll be able to show me something and put my mind at ease

Most disappointing for me was losing the slightly wider wheel arch. I'm sure its only a few mil but the back end is all about its width and squat stance

Paint to Sample is on the "Worldwide/International version of the Configurator. Kind of. It's a classic Porsche Website update. Introduce a new feature but break the site in all other aspects at the same time :CWL: either way... suggests to me PTS is coming soon

I believe there's an additional steering wheel option added on the UK configurator?

What should i expect next and in what time frame? My order/spec locked and deposit paid about 9 days ago. Do i now wait for contact direct from Porsche? If i remember correctly i should receive an invite to add my build to the app so i can keep tabs on it?

Vanadium. It's considered the safe/boring choice but i'd encourage anyone to see it in the metal. It can vary in tone quite a bit from a bronze/grey to a surprisingly blue/grey. It's also "free" :)

I hope your insurance issue isn't widespread. I've just emailed my broker and instructed them to make some preliminary enquiries on premiums. I'm locked in and deposit paid :)
