I am a little older, I remember the days where you got a printed model brochure, colour map and separate price list ;-). Overall, much, much easier nowadays.
There are some minor differences across Europe with Switzerland and UK being outliers. Still mood mode is neither mentioned in options...
Thank's. That's settled:
Mode switch: Normal, Sport, Comfort and Offroad
PASM: more options
Mood modes: ?programmable
Seems I have to go through all options again, seems there have been some changes after configuring the car. Have a look below:
That's what I get being logged in (saved...
Black is always give or take, plastic trims tend to blend in better but you loose contours. If you option Sport techno wheels, I think all colours work, in particular lighter ones. Without SportDesign package, colour choices are limited IMHO.
In the video the car looks very black, but I think...
Yes, that's my assumption. Scroll down for sound. Turbo has a different sound. S seems to have the same as base.
Would love to have the sound, but realistically, most of the time driving alone would be in the city (20 mph) and I am quite certain the fun emphasising on acceleration on B roads...
Fixed price for non Ionity as well. Slightly more expensive but still discounted by around 30p (some charge more than 80p). Used it a lot for my trip to the Lake District.
Picture clearly shows turbo without off-road package. So yes, all will have off-road modes. Just wonder if they will be able via dial or menu. Didn't watch all videos in full (for months spare information and now hours of videos), did one show mood modes? I guess you can program them.
I am only after the air suspension setting. Guess you can program mood modes with different settings.
Just wonder if I should get engine sound, base has V6 sound. Not to bad but V8 for turbo sounds amazing. SciFy sound on Macan is utterly annoying so never used it.
Exactly, Macan comes with four manually selectable modes ('Normal', 'SPORT', 'SPORT PLUS' and 'Offroad') when you option air suspension (This feature is currently affected by supply restrictions - please check availability with your Porsche Centre. ). Air suspension is standard on Cayenne so why...
Yes, we have the card. It's about 35-40 GBP to charge as compared to 7 GBP for home charging (with car tariff). Currently super competitive, I assume highway petrol station are hitting 2 GBP/l for Diesel.
Hi,
in Macan, sport + mode was included in air suspension regardless of sport chronic package. Standard equipment for Cayenne base model says electronically controlled damping system Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM) with continuous regulation of damping force and three manually...
Am I the only who finds the colour options in reviews kind of strange (in particular wheels) and limited (interior)? Was hoping for better. Seems Cayenne is fun to drive, so in my books reviews are all positive. As for the centre console, ferry pad looks like an afterthought. A good one though...
Diskussion reminds me of rear wheel steering, some love it (me included), some don’t. I think the Taycan is a little bit of an outlier for RAS and active ride. Panamera active ride is amazing, but then it‘s a well defined 4 door GT. Macan is a hot hatch who profits from RAS a lot. Cayenne is...
If Cayenne would have OTA, it wouldn't be important at all to emphasise that the latest software version has been installed before delivery. Think about iPhones, they don't have necessarily the latest firmware or software installed. Question is, does this only relate to factory or include...
Hi,
stumbled across old Porsche press release while looking for some new Cayenne EV news. As a previous Macan EV owner, software updates have been a sour topic. Seems still (old news) no over the air updates for Cayenne EV firmware or operating system (not necessarily a bad thing, last thing...
2 and 3 sound great, it's for MY27 😂 . 1 will look suboptimal unless you are willing to spent serious cash. Screen protector ( passenger screen) however may work. If it's entirely flat you can also use thin acrylic panel.
Cayenne EV suspension looks similar but not identical. It's everybody's best guest. They most likely prioritise car lines with higher profit margin, probably ICE Porsche but they need to get Cayenne EVs on the street. Best guess, Macan EV will be at the bottom of the food chain.
