Not sure if this is what you are looking for. I have ceramic tiles that we put down in the garages. They are easy to keep clean and do not soak up any spillages. Hoover regularly when needed and wet cleaning once or twice a year.
Well the range easily topples the Taycan! I can get about 475 to 500 km out of a tank, unless I go for challenging mountain roads! On driving along French motorways I can get even more T legs speeds. No problems with refuelling either. ??
Congratulations!
Enjoy And have fun with it.
I also own a 996 C4 cab manual, from Feb 1999. 25 years old now but still going strong. Great car to drive on the hilly alpstyle roads around here.
I thought they said they can use the full 150 kW without the booster. At least that was Dr Robert Meier stated? Still way below the 270 kW though. And Tesla V3 and V4 can do 250 kW at least. Wonder why the limit it at 150 kW?
Academic issue me since I will not jump on version 1 of MACAN...
Very different cars you have listed.
Here is a review of the new i5M60 and Harry was not impressed.
EQS is nice to travel long distances but very much a boat to drive.
How about the i4M50.
I did not like the Polestar at all. Very cramped and no good range or charging when I borrowed one...
It is sad that you have to limit your trips that way in the U.K. You are missing out on a great experience.
I am just back from a trip from southeast of France to Sweden , Norway, total ca 7500 km. And the Taycan is such a great car to drive in everything from +20 C to minus 20C. It was 20C...
We are lucky here in Europe that we have the CCS2 connecror on nearly all EV’s. There are some CHAdeMO, but very very few. I would also love to have a Macan EV but not generation 1. Will be very interesting to see how they will be in the SW area. I have no doubt that the new Macan will drive and...
We had an ICE Cayenne earlier and my wife loved that one. After two hip replacements it was so much easier to get in/out of. Our son had a Range Rover Sport earlier and she loved that as well. He didn’t like it with all the gremlins though. Lovely car for long trips, but endless issues. Not...
No I would not consider generation 1 of Macan EV. After all the bugs in the Taycan, I will not jump straight to a completely new platform from the VW group. I think they have clearly demonstrated their capability on both the VW ID range and especially Tayan gen 1. That would be like jumping from...
But you had such a lot of space there. Here in Southern France you will never find such a huge spot for parking. You are so close to front and rear that the option Would be unusable and a waste of money.
This information is interesting. I looked up this for my car. I found out that I had given consent to Tronity in 2022 to collect data, which they tried to use for their app etc. It did not work, out for my car though.
But even more interesting was that PorscheConnectPartnerService had ticked a...
I think that is very unfair as a comment.
.
I have a model 3 performance that is now 4.5 years old. Absolutely no issues with it. Only been in for two recalls/checks. Changed brake fluid twice and new tyres after 25 k km’s. Build quality acceptable and no worse than the Taycan. Noise level and...
That is one thing I would not want on the Taycan. I personally think Porsche have the balance absolutely right. Gives me great control of the car, without having to have to keep the accelerator on the absolutely correct level.
This is like you have stated a North America problem and issue...
I have a different view. I have a model 3 from 2019 with basic autopilot! Maybe there is another version apart from FSD, which I have no interest in.
The Taycans Innodrive is much much better than Tesla basic autopilot. You can indicate, change lanes without the autopilot disengaging. It drives...
Not a one off unfortunately.
only Ionity close to where we stayed and used it four days when driving to from Silverstone. Max I got was 118 kW and very busy charger.
