Audi E-Tron GT. Cayeene EV Turbo on order
Country flag
Query I’m trying to sort though the lease company and the dealer who have taken my order.
I’ve ordered a Cayenne Turbo with 21” alloys but while waiting for my build slot I’m trying to change to the 22” Sport Techno wheels.
I've been informed that to do this I need to add the Sport Design pack. When I make the change on the Porsche website the pack isn’t added or mentioned for the Turbo but it is added if I make the same change on a base model.
for anyone that has got a confirmed order with the 22” Sport Techno wheels on a Turbo did you have to add the Sport Design Pack and if so what price was that option? Based in the UK.
Thanks.

Yes.
I have confirmed order for Turbo with 22" Sport Techno wheels without the Sport Design pack.
You only need to add the Sport Design pack on the non-turbo to get those wheels.
Typical of many dealers not making sure they are knowledgeable about what they are selling.

Thanks for the quick reply @Persuader thats what I thought but it’s a struggle to get info from the lease company or from the dealer direct.

I think the Turbo looks better without the Sport Design Pack.
Also the standard Turbo package is Unique as non turbo can add the sport design package. 😂😜😎

Send them your build code for the avoidance of doubt.

Oddly, only the 22" SportTechno wheels for the base or S require the SportDesign Package. All other variants of the same size don't according to the configurator. The tyres are broader on this specific rim hence the requirement.

Turbo must already have the wider arches.

Yes, if you want the 22 techno wheels, you have to add the sports design pack.

to add this body kit already omes on the turbo
It doesn't actually if you check thoroughly (UK). Standard spec sheet doesn't mention either.

The arches are gloss black as are some other pieces of exterior trim. The rear diffuser (and front) changes with the specific Sport Design Pack.

Not with the Turbo as previously discussed on this thread.

Porsche dealer has come back and confirmed no requirement for Sport Design pack on the Turbo. Just need the lease company to amend my order and it’s all sorted.
thanks for the replies n

My spec is locking today and SportTechno Wheels are not available at all. Earliest build for SportTechno is August

My current delivery is showing as late December just now, more likely to be early January, that’s from the lease company. Nothing official from Porsche yet. Had too much time to think when the order wasn’t locked in I’ve convinced myself to try and get the 22” alloys.

Lease companies typically are last to be served compared to sourcing privately via your local Porsche dealership directly in my experience.

Locked orders are typically 3 months prior to anticipated delivery for most Porsches with a custom spec.

Skip 22" IMHO.

Most UK lease orders tend to go through the “mothership” in Reading, which unfortunately means they often get pushed to the back of the queue.

That said, it’s worth speaking to other centres within the Porsche Retail Group — for example Porsche Centre Hatfield or Porsche Centre East London.

They’ll still route lease orders through Reading, but it’s much easier to build a relationship with them directly. In my experience, they’re often happy to help push a lease order (which they ordinarily won’t gain access to) through on your behalf.

Worth a try if you’re struggling with long lead times

The order is going through Portsmouth. Still awaiting a confirmed build slot/date. If I need to wait till the end of the year it will be worth the wait. Will just be super jealous seeing the videos of everyone getting their cars though.
