US Dealer Stock

It looks like many if not most larger US dealers seem to have 1 Turbo on the lot. Anyone had any experience buying one? Are they using them as a Halo to bring folks in and hold out for a markup, or does it seem like they want to move them?
The wife is ready to get one and retire both our Taycan GTS and her beloved Jeep Trackhawk. The Turbo is the first SUV that has her wanting to give up her bullied and tuned Jeep.

We have never been much on ordering, almost always buying off the lot. If we do order, it'll be a PiedmontRed PTS, but it seems this would be a very long wait. Of course that would give me time to sell the Taycan, Trackhawk, and possibly even my 991.1 GTS. It would be nice to get down from 4 to 2 vehicles, my GMC Sierra EV isn't going anywhere.

Looks like at least one “S” scheduled originally for U.S. dealer stock scheduled for arrival in October has just been moved up, now scheduled to be at the dealership the end of this month. Hopefully for a test drive.

Turbo, Algarve Blue, Espresso Club Leather, pretty much loaded. Just waiting for the dealers to get the swap made. Should be able to get it Monday or Tuesday.

Schult, I am (and probably many others here) are looking forward to your telling us about your drive. Would you in your description about the drive please include in your post whether it has RAW, PAR, Sport Chrono with Push-To-Pass, and/or PTV+? TU.

I really liked the look of the coupe vs the SUV. Looks better in person. I did not like the wheels on this car. I have only driven the base and this. Much quicker off the line and at highway passing speeds. Did not have 4WS so it was not as nimble in the parking lot, in tighter corners and I could tell the biggest difference in making a U-turn and getting into parking spaces. If I tried to reach my head to the roof in the back seat, I could, but not a problem. I am 5'10, but have a very long torso and short legs (30" inseam). Overall I am glad I chose the coupe to order, now I just found out -delivery was pushed from Oct to Nov, so that was not good news.

Glad you liked the S version Sorry about it being pushed out another month until its delivery. You confirmed that my configuration would definitely have RAS (as our Macan EV does now). TU
