I had an F10, got a brilliant deal in 2011, maybe 2013, just as the LCI was coming out. Interest free and 11k off list. I ended up fitting the latest style grill and replacing the steering wheel with the LCI one and it was almost the same. It was a great car, loved every journey. Somewhat scary in the wet. Fond memories but I don't think I'd go back to it now. An automatic box is no replacement for the way an EV drives, the hesitation is annoying when you no longer have to put up with it.I feel like this thread was made for me. In an ideal world, have an M5 and a Taycan, sadly the real world says one or the other. My god the M5 makes me smile.
Fantastic. What color car and interior? As an update, I believe I am going to scoop up a barely used '23 GTS in the end.
2K miles, more core options than my custom build, only subjective downside is a different interior color than I built but who cares. Have to fly to get it but it's an excuse to spend some time with the vehicle driving home. Not closed yet but have a deposit in and an agreed upon price so it's looking promising.
Its a Neptune Blue, I was going to build a black interior but its the beige/black. Still a good combo but I dont generally choose the lighter interiors personally.Fantastic. What color car and interior?
Did you see the auction on Cars & Bids for this Neptune blue Turbo? Ends in 1 hour. ——>Its a Neptune Blue, I was going to build a black interior but its the beige/black. Still a good combo but I dont generally choose the lighter interiors personally.

Taycan Turbo Auction
Good luck, I have a Neptune gts with a light interior outside my usual just for change and have been very pleasantly surprised how much I like it. The two tone livens up the interior and dare I say more upscale?I was able to get the price down and it’s pretty close to my build, has more packages and is quite a bit cheaper than a custom allocation.
Beige/ black or chalk/ black? Just to be sure. Its a Neptune Blue, I was going to build a black interior but its the beige/black. Still a good combo but I dont generally choose the lighter interiors personally.
Ah, ok, I can understand your hesitation. But not a deal breaker I’m thinking. Best of luck for getting what you want.Beige/black but seats are entirely beige.
Turn off stability control (or half turn it off by holding the button longer IIRC), it will let your Taycan rear slide out (all the way or limited angle with stability control half off).I sold my M5 once I got my GTS, personally I’d opt to get an M5 if I hadn’t had one.
You will never get the same enjoyment out of a Taycan compared to the raw downshifts of a V8. The M5 is also much more rewarding to drive in my eyes, the taycan is very composed whereas you can really get the rear out and such on an M5 and be rewarded for it.
If it wasn’t for company tax benefits of EVs I’d be placing an order for a M3 Touring because I found the M5 slightly sluggish in comparison just due to the mass although as I doubt the V8 will be around for long I’d consider it.
Yup thats how I feel. Not a choice I'd make but not a dealbreakerAh, ok, I can understand your hesitation. But not a deal breaker I’m thinking. Best of luck for getting what you want.
