5,800#…it weighs as much as our e-tron .

Part of me wants to own a second 2-door Charger, but the “fratzonic exhaust”, and rumored vibration generator seems pretty redneck.

The Banshee is probably the only version I’d consider, and it won’t be available until “sometime” next year, so I’ll have plenty of time to digest this.

Still waiting for Cayman EV details, but I’m concerned it will only have 400-450 horsepower. It would need to weigh less than 3,000 pounds for that power level to be adequate, and I just don’t see that.

What little information was released today about the Charger has me leaning a little more towards buying a significantly depreciated Taycan Turbo to use as a daily driver. It would be weird to have two of the same car in our household, but there isn’t much out there of interest in the EV passenger car space for someone who doesn’t want to become part of the Tesla cult.

Realistically I should get back to work on converting my 3rd generation Charger to electric.
