Scratches and chips.
the salesman (I know him so believe him) said that if I get some, save them up and get them all done at once before you sell it.
apparently it’s the Porsche body shop that does the work and not some random.
that sounds good

@IanDB Now that you’ve had the car for around 1.5 weeks, would you mind sharing some updated thoughts? I’d be especially interested to hear whether you’ve had a chance to drive it a bit more dynamically.

I’ve used launch control. It’s unbelievably rapid but in a composed way. Can’t ever see the need for it but suspect it will get used though!
It handles beautifully. The rear steering helps keep the car feeling sharp and sporty. Lively but always composed.

Have you driven another car/suv (ICE/EV) that has had similar rapid acceleration with launch control to this one? Just trying to gauge how this one handles in comparison to any others at that speed.

we’ve got the Macan EV GTS and this handles as well as that. My old iX 50 was slower acceleration so not a fair comparison (though both the Macan and Cayenne are much better handling cars anyway)

@IanDB Interesting, your perception is that the Macan EV GTS handles as well as the Cayenne Turbo EV.
Porsche specifically tunes its GTS models to be the sweet spot. The Macan GTS prioritises driver-focused agility and mechanical-feeling precision in a smaller footprint, while the Cayenne Turbo Electric is an absolute brute-force powerhouse. The larger Cayenne relies heavily on advanced tech to mask its size. So, I would imagine there would be subtle differences, and Porsche seem to have done well on both.

They are both incredible to drive but in subtly different ways.
