Map OTA Updates

In the 17 months I had my Macan I never received any map updates OTA. I think the dealer installed one as part of the major system update. On collection day my Cayenne installed a map update OTA during handover.

As the Macan never received any OTA updates, I thought it may be useful if there was a thread recording when OTA updates became available and what they consisted of.

I recently found the setting for automatic OTA map updates hidden in the navigation menu. Note that you can only change it if the car is in a standstill/parked.
Worth checking anyway..

My car was in the showroom and that fits. As well as in the car the App has a selection for accepting OTA updates. - presumably you will need both on.
