Anyone know anything about these guys? They are claiming their car will have:

* 0-60 under 2.5 seconds
* Over 200 mph top speed
* Over 400 miles range (!?)

Is that even possible with today’s technology?

Vaporware. They have been in financial trouble for many years and have been promising a car since 2014/2015. They had a nice prototype, but that is it. They cut personnel and have been having a tough time getting additional funding to start production

It looks like they did get a billion dollars in investing and are building a factory. They say they will have cars by the end of the year, but people seem to think next year is more realistic.

I Think one thread is more than enough on the Taycan forum.

Yes, those stats are even possible. Tesla roadster; 0-60 under 2 seconds, 600+ range, top speed over 250.

I don't believe any numbers put out by a manufacturer until the vehicle is in production and being delivered to consumers. Then, and only then, do they have to live up to those standards. Until this happens they are concept/prototype stage.
