  1. Gas shortage in the US. Be careful out there.

A big cause of the toilet paper shortage had nothing to do with hoarding. Pretty interesting:
  2. Hummer EV

https://www.gmc.com/electric-truck/hummer-ev Just saw an ad on TV for this. First I’ve heard of it. Anyone know anything about it? They are claiming “0-60 in 3 seconds +/-“. The plus minus is funny, but nice to see a gas guzzler brand enter the EV world.
  3. Cayenne EV - Dealer Pickup / Delivery Checklist

This list is excellent - thanks! One thing, at least here in Mass, you need to buy the car before you can register it, and you need to register before you have insurance. So paying for the car has to be done in a separate trip before you pick it up.
  4. Lucid Motors

Linking to another thread I started on lucid. Maybe I should have added the post here. https://www.taycanforum.com/forum/threads/lucid-prototype-gets-400-miles-on-one-charge.1226/

  6. Rats. I should’ve gotten one of these

https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.caranddriver.com/news/amp31206198/koenigsegg-gemera-photos-info/ And you thought the Taycan was pricey!
  7. Lucid Motors

It looks like they did get a billion dollars in investing and are building a factory. They say they will have cars by the end of the year, but people seem to think next year is more realistic. https://electrek.co/2020/01/15/lucid-motors-production-air-electric-sedan-unveiling-ny/
  8. Lucid Motors

https://lucidmotors.com/ Anyone know anything about these guys? They are claiming their car will have: * 0-60 under 2.5 seconds * Over 200 mph top speed * Over 400 miles range (!?) Is that even possible with today’s technology?
